Sell Domain Names

If you sell a domain name, your main goal is to get your money quickly and not hear from the purchaser again.
When it comes to selling the european .eu domains on web, the seller should have proper idea and proper way of selling those goodnamed domains.
Selling domains can be done placing a domain name which Is already purchased in a very good traffic generating website which can also target the specific
Geographical area. When it comes to promotion and selling of eu domain in european web market it requires some very good knowledge of domain names and its popularity statistics which helps in selling at right price to the right person who can buy it.

Before you get down to the hard work necessary to sell your domain name, you'll need to place some kind of value on it (even if you are not going to publicize the value you've placed on a domain name, it's important to know what the minimum amount you'd accept for it is.)

There are essentially two main ways to sell a domain name: you can find a buyer yourself, or you can use a company/organization to find a buyer on your behalf.

If you choose a domain name broker (site or service that assists you in finding a buyer for your domain name) that does not demand exclusivity, you can even combine both types of sales strategy i.e. list your domain name for sale with the broker, and at the same time solicit buyers independently.

At the same time, never discount the possibility of "walk-in" buyers; in other words, potential buyers coming across your domain name during a search, and enquiring about its availability.

To this end, it's essential that you keep your Whois record (the record of ownership of your domain name) updated at all times, and free from errors. You just never know who might be trying to contact you!

EU Domain Takes Top Spot on This Week's Sales Chart After Selling for Over $46,000

Prior to the .eu rollout this spring, there was a lot of debate about how commercially viable the European Union's new extension would turn out to be. The questions are now being answered and the answers are coming quicker than most people expected. .Eu has already passed 2 million registrations and this week OnlineCasino.eu sold for €36,500 ($46,748) at Sedo.com to put .eu at #1 on DN Journal's weekly Top 20 Chart for the first time. UK based Refractile Limited made the sale.
Though a major U.S. holiday slowed overall business down a bit this week, it is an impressive feat for a new extension to top every other TLD in any week. What's more, there were several other strong .eu sales, including a second entry on the Big Board, #13 InternetCasinos.eu, which sold for €7,500 ($9,607), also at Sedo.
